Oxy is a song that involves oxymorons throughout the lyrics. It is a fun, upbeat, and high-paced jam that requires a lyric video and song cover to support the song launch. Images were captured of objects to help develop an erratic, choppy, and quick-moving animation style. Each frame was considered based on the lyrics and associated visuals to carry the viewer to the end of the song while keeping them engaged and excited.
Colour theory was considered to develop the palette and create an impactful and high-contrast visual. This creative project was directed entirely by me, and after the song launched, a remixed version was released, and I was able to create an alternative cover for it.
